QMMH CELEBRATES 7 YEARS OF EXISTENCE

In celebration of seven years of Queen Mamohato Memorial Hospital (QMMH) existence, the hospital has scheduled a one-day team building activity in October.

According to the hospital’s Public Relations Officer, Mrs Mothepane Thahane the event to be held at QMMH premises is expected to bring top brass together with operatives in order to celebrate.

She explained that though the hospital is faced with many challenges such as filling wards and shortage of staff, the hospital has contributed significantly in addressing health issues of the ailing society.

She said Lesotho’s only referral hospital has since its inception seen and attended over 200 000 inpatients patients with different illnesses.

She alluded that the seven years anniversary will be celebrated in such that workers will not be wearing union that day.

However, she stated patients will still be attended to by QMMH health experts in their various areas on that special day.

She said the pinnacle of the celebration will be cutting a cake signalling seven years of success.

QMMH is partnership between the government of Lesotho and the private sector aimed at ensuring promotion of quality health services.
